

Tsipouro is a pomace brandy (like grappa) from Greece and comes in two styles: anise-flavoured and pure. This pure version offers intriguing aromas of hay bale, underbrush, mint, shoe leather, peach pit, yellow plum, and celery salt. It's dry and warming on the tongue, with a dash of spicy white pepper, green chili, sea salt and applesauce. Serve it lightly chilled as a digestif.
