Saturated ruby. Powerful, oak-tinged cherry and dark berry aromas pick up floral, pipe tobacco and spice nuances with air. Broad and velvety on the palate, offering bitter cherry, mulberry, candied rose and mocha flavors and a touch of licorice. The floral note carries through a very long, spicy finish that features steadily building tannins and a sweetening hint of cola. Drinking window: 2023-2032. Score - 93.
