Planted on Cerro Chapeu's sandy soils, close to the Brazilian border in northern Uruguay and from 40-year-old vines, this tannat is a juicy and tense example of the variety. It spent a year in old barrels and offers a direct and fruity vision to help learn about the grape, and it also delivers tremendous value for money. Score - 92.
