This wine is mostly Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Franc. It has a fairly robust structure and a silky mouthfeel, with bright, ripe dark fruit and a gorgeous, lifted violet floral tone. A characterful, quality-priced wine that will go well with lamb or with beef in a red-wine sauce, this also has the range to pair with something fun like beef burritos.
