Auxey-Duresses is situated at the head of the valley that opens from Côte de Beaune into the Hautes Côtes region. The Chardonnay grown here offers apple and almond tones with a characterful gunflint minerality. These long, fruity wines are good pairings for dishes such as ratatouille or grilled shellfish.
