En France sits between the two striking rocks of Vergisson and Solutré and the Barrauds have a 40-year-old parcel that faces south west. Stylishly wooded in 20% new oak, it's less racy and austere than some Vergisson whites, but still has plenty of tangy, refreshing minerality complemented by flavours of grapefruit and lemongrass.
