For the first time in 2019, Free Form Vin Gris comes from Garnet Valley Ranch. It is made the same as the previous two vintages: whole bunch pressed and native fermented in concrete, where it underwent full MLF and rested for six months on lees prior to bottling unfiltered, with a wee amount of SO2. Tight and focused, with gooseberry, quince on a slick, sleek palate, with ample energy and verve. The finish lingers with a bergamot note, and ample mineral salts.
