From one of the oldest chardonnay sites in PEC, now over 20 years of age, this is such a classic example of the delicate refinement the climate and limestone soils administer in County chardonnays. It is so delicate some will be inclined to call it thin. But hang on a minute, because the flavours don't quit. The nose shows complex, well integrated notes of green apple, chalk, light toast, hazelnut, miso and spice - and those flavours stay focused and hang around.
