This is an unusual, creative blend of acacia wood barreled riesling, skin fermented gewurz, chardonnay and sauvignon. It works very well, with intriguing complexity thanks to bits of each variety playing a role. There is riesling apple, well placed wood spice, sauvignon herbaceosness and considerable citrus. It is medium-full bodied, just off-dry but nicely offset by some acidity, spice and grip on the finish. There is some bitterness in the end - the length is very good to excellent. Score - 89.
