A refined red with good tension and intensity, showing clean black fruit and hints of wild herbs and licorice. Medium-bodied with a deep, silky core of fruit and very fine tannins. Long, nicely controlled finish. 50% cabernet sauvignon and 50% sangiovese. Delicious even now, but will continue to improve. Best from 2023. Score - 93. (jamessuckling.com, Aug. 4, 2021)
