The River Junction AVA is located in the driest part of the delta created by the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus rivers. Vines are grown in sandy loam soils and the tiny pocket is, on average, 2-5 degrees cooler than the surrounding areas. Ripe peach, pear, apple and butter tones make this Chardonnay a great match for grilled lobster, chicken or pork chops.
