The majority of the juice for this wine was pressed directly into stainless and fermented, but one-third was fermented in barrel, which added some weight and mouthfeel without tipping the scales towards a full-bodied Alsatian Pinot Gris style. The resulting wine is fresh and bright, with deftly outlined melon, apple, peach, pear, snappy citrus, and a hint of sweetness that makes this vibrant wine a nice option for mildly spiced seafood.
