Sourced from a combination of old and young vines on rocky shale soils, this is Elgin's best Pinotage. Aged in a surprisingly high 80% new wood, it's a racy, cool climate expression of the grape, with tangy red cherry and raspberry fruit, stony intensity, whole bunch spices and a hint of good reduction.
