Like the previous vintage, Wente's Beyer's Ranch shows a consistent, and appealing, fresh herbal note, lightly mentholated and green, but also here in 2018 with a citrus twist, dried orange peel, and more cherry fruit. It's overall relatively fresh and juicy, quite dry, with succulent acids and lingering finish. Nicely composed, and highly drinkable. Serve with a gentle chill for maximum freshness. Score - 91.
